| Laotian Giant Scorpions are found in Laos and neighboring parts of Southeast Asia. They are glossy black or very dark brown, and range from 10 to 15 cm in length. They use their pincers to crush and immobilize their prey, more so than their stinger. Their venom is painful but rarely dangerous to humans, with mild to moderate toxicity. Unlike desert scorpions, they prefer humid, jungle-like conditions. | |||
